House of Memories

I got on my blog today to write about all the things and ran into old google photos.  I got sucked into the nostalgia of old times.  Times when the kids were younger. Times when we all lived under the same roof and knowing that I'm speeding this very process up with my new promotion makes me sad.

I been thinking that this emotion is fear, so I ask myself what am I so scared of?  I can do this job; I've been training for it all my life.  I may make mistakes, but I am a hard worker, so I'll learn how to do things better. My husband and I have been through all seasons so we will figure this out too.

I decided that I am just sad that there are things that I am going to miss in the months to come because I'm choosing this path for me, and ultimately for us as a family.  I'm going to miss my friends, our home, my front porch and all of TH Hopebridge.

Of all the things I've counted on in my lifetime, this is the first time that I am betting on myself. Should be an easy move...but I am going to miss the mere essence of our daughter and our Happy B coming and going together under the same roof.

While I am sad for the quicken of time, I cannot wait to see our photo logs for the coming year, and I am excited for new adventures.
