I am feeling defeated these past weeks. I am thankful that I am mature enough to know that when a door is closed that God has other plans. When I look back over my life the things that made no sense to me when I was walking through them become the "aha moments" of my story. Not only do these pivotal moments in my life make sense looking backwards, but God also rewrote some of my BEST prayer requests and made them even better than I could ever have imagined! This is why I think his timing feels to take forever, because he is working all things together for the good. Perfection takes time.
Some seasons of heartbreak seem endless. The crazy thing is when you walk though something truly hard it changes you for the good if you let it. You find one day that the place you long for no longer fit the better version of the person you have become because of your struggles.
That moment when the better version of who you grow into is more valuable than the thing that you have been praying your guts out for, well that my friends is a remarkable journey that I hope everyone gets a chance to experience in their lifetime.
