Does God Care Who Wins the Super Bowl

(from six years ago on my fb page)

I heard about the article on the way to work on Friday, does God care who wins the super bowl?

I don't know that is the right question...of course he cares, but more importantly he already knows who is going to win and who is going to lose, and the effects it will have on all the key players their teams, their family, coaches, etc...

Reminded me of this commercial!

It also made me think of my favorite book quote from Mitch Albom, in the Five People you Meet in Heaven:

“There are no random acts...We are all connected...You can no more separate one life from another than you can separate a breeze from the wind.

God is big, he created each and everyone of us, he put us and our hearts into motion.  While we ask big things from him and expect big results...truth is he works in ripples through us causing big results in small waves.

If you steal something that doesn't belong to you...it matters.  If you over tip your breakfast waitress it matters. If you flip someone off in traffic it matters.  If you stop and talk to a stranger it matters.  If you win or lose the supper bowl it matters...because it ripple effects into everyone around you.  And God know how and what you are going to do...and uses our actions to accomplish bigger things.

What ripples do your actions spill out into humanity... the super bowl, or our own personal life game... it matters!
